Erik’s 35 years in the construction industry have deeply and uniquely prepared him for his role as Vice President of Construction Operations of the West Region. With a diverse background of positions from project engineer and superintendent to project executive and senior vice president, his passion for construction is rivaled only by his experience. An energetic, organized and compassionate leader, Erik relishes working closely with others to cultivate long-lasting relationships, create quality buildings, develop new processes and meet client goals. As Vice President of Construction Operations, he is responsible for construction planning and logistics for the West Region, as well as driving collaboration among all Ryan regions. Erik maintains best practices of construction operations for his region, ensures standard processes and technologies are implemented, creates a learning organization for construction operations, and sets workforce distribution standards. He also is responsible for succession planning for the region’s project management and field operations workforce, and developing strong relationships with key clients, project management and field staff.
