Steve’s detailed knowledge of every aspect of healthcare construction and operation comes from 30 years of experience and more than 300 healthcare and senior housing projects. His hands-on experience spans the building trades and design-build; he also spent years on the other side of the desk in project management and healthcare development, giving him familiarity with everything from healthcare financing and leasing to property management. His direct work with developers and owners enables him to appreciate short- and long-term cost issues in a way that most construction professionals cannot. He is known for his ability to understand an owner’s vision, bring it through preconstruction and design, and lead teams to deliver superior facilities. Customers seek him out and return to him over and over; he’s done a full 37 projects with HealthEast alone. Steve is one of a select group of professionals to hold the elite Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) designation, whereby the American Hospital Association recognizes extensive healthcare project work and expertise in fundamentals, facility design and construction, regulations, financial stewardship and more.
