Ryan partners with Brophy College Preparatory again to continue multi-million dollar sports complex
Arizona’s oldest Jesuit school for boys is known for its outstanding athletic teams, but Brophy College Preparatory hoped to take its sports programs to another level with a new sports complex. The school purchased additional land to accommodate the 8.4 acre project. Ryan demolished an eight-building apartment complex and performed asbestos abatement, ensuring the surrounding college preparatory campus and the established neighborhood would be safe and unaffected.
The complex includes two acres of professional-grade competitive, natural grass practice fields that integrate a canal water system for irrigation in lieu of potable water. The stadium field includes NFL-grade synthetic turf, a synthetic track encircling it and a 800-person capacity bleacher system. The field accommodates football, lacrosse, soccer, long jump, high jump, pole vault, discuss and shot put.
