Existing relationship leads to Cargill, Ryan partnership
Cargill is an international producer and marketer of food, agricultural, financial and industrial products and services. Ryan established a relationship with Cargill when Ryan was selected to develop, design and construct a regional headquarters for The Mosaic Company, a subsidiary of Cargill, in Lithia, Florida.
This new facility for Cargill is a 30,000-square-foot single-story office building located in Blair, Nebraska, in close proximity to the company’s corn processing and ethanol plants. Located on a 2.5-acre site northeast of Omaha, Cargill wanted the building to reflect its corporate culture and corresponds with its surroundings. The site Cargill selected is on a hilltop with a steep slope. Both Ryan landscape architects and civil engineers developed a site plan that minimized earthwork costs while maintaining Cargill’s requested site lines and enhanced views. The team also maintained existing trees and other natural features of the site while incorporating a walking trail.
