A Minnesota-based health care provider chose Ryan’s integrated design-build approach as the best option for their data center modification. They occupied 8,000 square feet of mission critical raised floor, but with the expansion of their business, needed approximately 3,000 square feet of additional space. Ryan provided an initial analysis of the facility to develop a design solution that avoided as much contact with their existing systems as possible.

Ryan had approximately seven months to work with the health care customer to design, build and commission this mission critical facility. Ryan’s mission critical team devoted many planning hours in the early stages of the project to identify and resolve potential issues to meet this fast-paced schedule. This included developing and outlining step-by-step procedures for critical tasks to ensure the customer's main goal of “absolutely no down time” was achieved.
