Phoenix Children's Hospital Specialty and Urgent Care Center Northwest

To service the needs of families in the Northwest Valley, Phoenix Children’s Hospital expanded its pediatric care with a new clinic/urgent care facility in Glendale, Arizona. The 6,000-square-foot facility is in an existing medical complex and features eight exam rooms, two consult rooms and two procedure rooms with endocrinology, gastroenterology, nephrology, neurology, orthopedics and pulmonology services as well as radiology and lab services on site.

Ryan was originally selected to perform preconstruction services on the project. Very pleased with Ryan’s budgeting and scheduling from schematic design to construction documents, Phoenix Children’s awarded Ryan the construction contract. To ensure the project was delivered on schedule and to Phoenix Children’s expectations, Ryan established an open and flexible communication system. Subcontractors were always very aware of the owner’s expectations and were able to quickly accommodate any changes in the design.
