Ryan partners with Allied to expand central Iowa headquarters
Allied Insurance, a subsidiary of Nationwide, is adding 285,000 square feet of space to the their corporate headquarters building in Downtown Des Moines, resulting in a 650,000-square-foot corporate campus with room for 2,200 employees. Ryan will be performing one of the largest construction projects in Des Moines' history. This project is also unique because the expansion is to match the existing building without interfering with Allied employees working on seven floors. Another challenge is the schedule: Ryan fast-tracked the steel and created a comprehensive bid package to minimize change order risks.
