Dean Lakes

One of the largest mixed-use developments in the Twin Cities
Ryan worked closely with city officials and local business leaders over a three-year period to master-plan the Dean Lakes development. 

Dean Lakes includes 295 single-family homes and townhomes built by Ryland Homes and Windwood Homes. A Lowe's is the anchor of approximately 300,000 square feet of retail space with 1.2 million square feet of space and 90 acres dedicated to industrial and office development. Dean Lakes Health, a 20,000-square-foot medical office building, is now complete. Ryan designed and built a 100,000-square-foot design-build office/tech facility for QLogic Corporation which will neighbor the 25,000-square-foot corporate office Ryan designed and constructed for Open Systems, Inc. The entire development is connected by the conservation space, and features an approximately four-mile walking/ jogging/biking trail system that links to the City of Shakopee Park and Trail System.
