Dominick's Finer Foods is the Chicago metropolitan area's second-largest grocery store chain, with more than 80 stores areawide.

Dominick's stores are upscale supermarkets that often include other retail amenities: Caribou Coffee shops, banking facilities, gift and card shops, restaurants, Wolfgang Puck wood-roasted pizza, an Asian Grill, and deli takeout. To accommodate the upscale decor, the design features wide, carpeted aisles, attractive oak fixtures, and lavish decor lighting. In addition, some stores include a full-service restaurant with cafe-style eating in a homey atmosphere, with couches and a fireplace along with tables and chairs.
