Ford Motor Company High Velocity Distribution Facility

Location and timing were critical to success
Ryan worked closely with Ford Motor Company officials and local governmental agencies to determine the most economical location for their parts distribution facility. In addition to location, it was critical that Ryan met the aggressive building schedule. The facility houses an extensive racking system that is needed for the large volume of product turnover at this distribution center. Located on Interstate 94, a critical transportation corridor, this facility will provide parts distribution services to all Ford dealerships within a 200-mile radius.

The design and construction methods used allow for future expansion and systems integration for further automation of the distribution process.
