Hiawatha Business Center
Hiawatha Business Center
Hiawatha Business Center became a reality with a vision strong enough to overcome many obstacles
This site, once known as the "Arsenic Triangle" because of years of soil and groundwater contamination, is now considered the gateway to the revitalized Hiawatha corridor. Bounded by Highway 55, the Hiawatha light rail line and the Midtown Greenway (a biking and walking trail), the project converted a vacant, heavily-contaminated piece of property into an attractive, job-generating facility that sets the tone for this commercial and residential community's revitalization efforts.
The Hiawatha Business Center has been heralded a huge success by the neighborhood and business community. The building won a 2005 Best in Real Estate Award from the Twin Cities Business Journal and is 100% leased.
