Maricopa County Courthouse

Ryan provides construction manager at risk services for new courthouse
Maricopa County is one of the fastest growing counties in the United States. To meet the needs of such a rapidly growing community, the County is constructing a new  695,000-square-foot county courthouse tower in downtown Phoenix. Ryan, in association with Gilbane Building Company, is leading the construction effort, working with a large number of stakeholders and design professionals.

The building will be highly sustainable and both energy- and water-efficient; a structure meant to stand the test of time. While a newly constructed building, its traditional design, columns and materials will blend with the historic buildings that exist on the Maricopa County campus. The finished courthouse will house approximately 1,000 in the jury assemble area and offer 22 courtrooms in varying sizes, with the ability to expand to 32 in the future. The project team will be seeking LEED silver certification for this project
