Lasting relationship leads to a new opportunity
Nortrax is a leader in the construction and forestry equipment industry. With 48 locations in 13 states and a staff of more than 1,000 employees, Nortrax is the largest John Deere dealership group in the world. Ryan was chosen to design-build the dealership’s parts service facility for heavy equipment due to the long lasting relationship between Ryan and Deere and Company, the manufacturer of John Deere products.

Challenges met
Because the dealership is located in southern Florida, Ryan went through an extensive permitting process and had to design the building using category four hurricane criteria. Ryan was able to call on their team of design, construction and development professionals to push the building through permitting, develop a successful design and create a fast-delivery schedule as to not limit the disruption to the dealership’s daily business operations. The tilt-up concrete structure serves as a prototype for repairing large construction equipment.
