Expanding beyond an existing facility
Polaris chose Ryan's design-build team to extend their product development facilities beyond their existing Roseau, Minnesota, location to a second location in Wyoming, Minnesota. The new facility includes state of-the-art engineering, fabrication and testing areas linked to an office environment. It supports multiple product lines and Polaris' production facilities for the surrounding five-state area.

The Wyoming project complements Polaris' Roseau facility in look and function. Large, east-facing windows and a series of "monitor" skylight structures bring natural light to the core building areas. Ryan revised the original site plan to position the facility for future expansions, to take advantage of the best views and to allow-in the more manageable northern light. This facility is Polaris' first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) (LEED) certified facility.
