Rosemont Marketplace

A troubled site
Located five minutes from O'Hare Airport and 20 minutes from downtown Chicago, Rosemont, Illinois, is primarily a commercial sector, and boasts the second-largest entertainment arena in the Chicagoland area, Allstate Arena. The site is next to Allstate Arena; however, had not been developed due to soil and groundwater contamination. It also previously had a chemical plant on the site. To redevelop the troubled site, the City of Rosemont partnered with Ryan's retail team to create Rosemont Marketplace. The shopping center is approximately 450,000 square feet with Target and Office Depot stores serving as anchors for the main inline building as well as five additional outlots.
