Ryan and steel warehouse partner again on warehouse expansion
When Steel Warehouse decided to open a Quad Cities branch in 1998, they came to Ryan (DBA) to both design and build their office/warehouse facility. Located on 10 acres in a Rock Island, Illinois industrial park, this facility primarily serves agricultural and construction equipment manufacturers and fabricators. To accommodate less than ideal site conditions, Ryan designed the Illionis-regulated storm water retention basin and created a deep foundation design utilizing driven steel piles to offset inadequate soil conditions. Because of these innovative design solutions and strong construction performance (Ryan used six 33-ton Top Running Cranes on this project), Steel Warehouse came back to Ryan in 2006 to build their 40,000 square-foot warehouse expansion.
