The Aberdeen is a newly constructed building in an historic, elite neighborhood in St. Paul, Minnesota. The 6-story building includes 56 high-end condominiums with an average unit size of 1,000 square feet. Because of the historic nature of the neighborhood, the project had to adhere to strict design guidelines from the Historic Preservation Commission. This included a brick/stone exterior, grille/muttin details at double hung windows, size of balconies, exterior balcony railings as well as landscaping. The overall building is a post-tensioned concrete structure with two levels of below grade parking.
