Combination of commercial daycare and student housing
Ryan was chosen to deliver an integrated design and construction solution for the University of St. Thomas Childcare Development Center and Student Housing. The facility consists of eight classrooms, accommodating infants, toddlers and preschoolers. The teaching areas were designed to be both visually attractive and to stimulate interest in learning. The building also includes two activity rooms and a serving area for preparing meals provided by the University's food service. The second floor has University of St. Thomas apartments for 17 students who are actively involved in the development center.
