W Minneapolis — The Foshay

Once the tallest building in the U.S., The Foshay sees new life as a hotel
The Foshay Tower is a historically registered landmark in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. Built in 1929, Wilbur Foshay constructed the obelisk building in homage to the Washington Monument as well as to tower over every other building in the U.S. Having served as an office building for over seven decades, the Foshay's uniqueness in the downtown Minneapolis landscape always seemed destined for more. Codeveloper RWB Holdings, LLC and Ryan Companies US, Inc. are partnering with Starwood Hotels & Resorts to bring a new beat to this elegant and historic with the modern, upscale W Hotel brand.

W Minneapolis — The Foshay is one of only 20 W hotels operating worldwide. The hotel will feature 229 distinct guest rooms and suites, W's signature Living Room, a first-floor destination restaurant and lounge bar as well as Minneapolis favorite Key's restaurant. The W will also feature a destination bar on the 27th floor, a W Store, SWEAT (W branded workout area), concierge service, meeting and banquet space and valet parking. A W Hotel is designed to create a one-of-a-kind experience.
