When Kinzler Companies discovered this 100-year-old concrete former warehouse, they envisioned the finest loft living in Des Moines. With Ryan, they are making it happen. Ryan demolished all of the brick from the building, leaving a sturdy concrete skeleton. Next, they installed thick glass from floor to ceiling, making the building a dazzling glass gem. Each unit has a balcony or a terrace. To take advantage of the impressive views — the skyline of downtown Des Moines to the north, the county courthouse to the south, the Iowa Capitol to the east, and Principal Park and the Raccoon River to the south — Kinzler and Ryan added two floors atop the seven-story building to house five penthouse suites. They also added a rooftop terrace which serves as a party deck.
