Community involvement is a Ryan tradition. As John Strittmatter, President, Southwest Division said, “If we want the benefit of living and doing business in strong and healthy communities, we must take responsibility and become involved.” One way employees can become involved is through the Ryan Foundation. In addition to funding projects Ryan owners want to support, the Foundation provides support dollar-for-dollar for employees’ community involvement projects — organizations our employees feel passionately about. Overall, the Ryan Foundation contributes 10% of Ryan’s profits to community projects nationwide. Employees are also encouraged to donate 5% of their work-time to volunteer efforts.
