National real estate firm expands its development, construction and property management services into Southern California to better serve existing customers and pursue new development projects

SAN DIEGO (June 23, 2005) – With growing customer interests in Southern California, Ryan Companies US, Inc., a leading national commercial real estate firm, has opened a regional office in San Diego. The San Diego office will provide full development, construction and property management services to local businesses and national companies expanding in Southern California . The Southwest division of Ryan has been active in the San Diego area since 2002, designing and building office, industrial, and retail space for some of Ryan’s long-standing customers. With its increased commitment on a local level, Ryan can identify and pursue even more development opportunities that meet its customers’ growth strategies.

Ryan has already begun work on a large mixed-use development in Santee , California . Located on more than 100 acres, RiverView at Santee is a 1.9 million square foot master-planned campus featuring technology, R&D and office uses with residential and retail space. The project, located off of SR 52 and SR 125, makes it a leading business center in the emerging east San Diego County . Ryan has completed the first phase of RiverView, an 80,000 square foot regional office for the Hartford Insurance Company. Phase II will break ground later this year, and includes approximately 62,000 square feet of office, a 10 to14 screen movie theatre, and 240 residential condos.
