MINNEAPOLIS (June 8, 2006) – Ryan Companies US, Inc. announced today that Mark Nordland has joined the company and will serve as vice president of development. Nordland, who previously worked for CSM Corporation as director of industrial development, will lead the industrial and business park teams for Ryan’s Minnesota region.

“Mark’s background in business and industrial park developments is a great fit with Ryan and its strategic direction for this market,” said Collin Barr, executive vice president, Ryan Companies."

During Nordland’s tenure with CSM, he led several development and acquisition projects in the Twin Cities. His most recent projects included the development of the Lexington Preserve Business Park in Blaine, Prairie Oaks in Eden Prairie, and the expansions of The Waters Corporate Park in Eagan and the Westgate Business Park in St. Paul. Additionally, Nordland led the acquisition of one million square feet of existing projects.

“I am very excited about the development opportunities Ryan presents to the industrial and business parks market here in the Twin Cities,” said Nordland.

In his new role at Ryan, Nordland will initially focus on the continued development of Dean Lakes in Shakopee; Hiawatha Business Center in Minneapolis; 610 Business Center in Brooklyn Park, and the New Brighton Business Center. Nordland will also lead the acquisition and redevelopment of a 16.75-acre site in Orono at the new intersection of the extended I-394 and Old Crystal Bay Road.
