FORT MYERS, Fla. (March 31, 2026) – Ryan Companies US, Inc. announces today the financial closing and commencement of construction on Trailside at Dia Crossing, an eight building, 350-unit multifamily community located at the gateway to Estero at U.S. 41 and Alico Road, in Fort Myers, Fla. The project is expected to be move-in ready by the first quarter of 2027.

“The rapid growth and long-term outlook in the greater Fort Myers area have created the need for new, high-quality housing,” said Nat Linden, vice president of real estate development, Ryan Companies. “Closing at this early stage in the next real estate cycle creates a unique opportunity for success and is a testament to the strength of the Ryan Companies platform.”

The best-in-class amenities are uniquely tailored to an active lifestyle supporting resident wellness and community building. The gracious central park, 30-acre nature preserve, kayak launch to Estero Bay, resort-style pool and 9,500-square-foot clubhouse invite residents to engage with their neighbors in meaningful ways while the fitness center, sauna, cold plunge and yoga deck offer a chance to unplug and recharge.

Trailside at Dia Crossing prominently sits on one of the busiest intersections in Lee County, minutes from Gulf Coast Medical Center and Florida Gulf Coast University. The community offers residents access to a wide range of local landmarks, including the Spring Training homes of the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins. The community is well-situated for daily life and travel, with more than 16 grocery stores within a 4-mile radius and Southwest Florida International Airport a short drive away. Major employers such as Arthrex, Gartner and Hertz Global Headquarters are also in close proximity.

Ryan is the builder and developer of the project. Ryan A+E Inc., the design studio of Ryan, is the architect. U.S. Bank is providing construction financing for the project.

“We’re pleased to have played a role in advancing this development alongside an experienced team,” said Abby Summerfield, relationship manager at U.S. Bank. “This aligns with our efforts to provide capital solutions that help convert strong market fundamentals into well-executed multifamily projects.”
