Tim joined Ryan in Hibbing, MN in 1969 when Jim Ryan asked him to take over the company’s finances. He went on to become Ryan’s Chief Financial Officer and was the first non-family member to become part owner of the company. Tim oversaw all financial, accounting and administrative activities until he stepped down as CFO in 2009 to become Chairman of the Board, Secretary and Treasurer. Now Chairman Emeritus, he continues to play a vital role in maintaining Ryan’s strong banking relationships.

Tim serves on the Advisory Board of the University of Notre Dame’s Accounting Department as well as the Advisory Counsel for the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business. He is a former member of Camp Confidence Foundation and former director of the United Fund and First Bank, both in Hibbing, Minnesota.
