Jake Smith
With 20 years of commercial real estate industry experience, Jake serves as Senior Vice President of Development for Ryan’s industrial platform. A tenacious, resilient and steadfast professional, he seeks to grow the industrial speculative platform and Ryan’s presence by leveraging his relationships, experience and expertise in the marketplace. Jake excels at development volume in high barrier markets and is driven to meet client space needs and goals. As Senior Vice President of Development, he provides overall leadership and directs the course of business for all real estate development in his region. Leading project teams through all aspects of development, including site selection, lease and sale negotiations through disposition. Jake closely oversees all due diligence, municipal approvals, design and construction coordination. He will focus his efforts in Los Angeles, Orange County and the Inland Empire.
