Clarendale® of Mokena

With an aging population that grows larger by the year, there is an increasing demand for integrated senior lifestyle communities where residents can find the services they need and the amenities they want. Sharing this vision, Ryan has partnered with Life Care Services™ of Des Moines, IA, the third largest manager of senior living facilities in the country. Together we are developing and building senior living communities throughout the US, providing much needed living options while enhancing the lives of the residents who will live in each.

The three-story building in Mokena houses 156 units as well as common areas for dining and activities and a host of social amenities. Emphasizing a greater sense of community among all residents, the development team collaborated with designers early to optimize the space programming to promote interaction and socialization. With an eye toward helping seniors thrive, the team designed the building from the inside out, giving priority to the long-term needs and preferences of residents.

With the Clarendale® of Mokena community, Ryan served as the developer of the $31.7 million project, delivering the first such senior living community to the Village of Mokena in Illinois. Combining three lifestyle neighborhoods under one roof—independent living, assisted living and memory care—Clarendale® of Mokena offers area seniors a rich residential experience.
