Ryan’s North Region Wins Four Minnesota Real Estate Journal Awards

At Ryan, it’s not just about the buildings we develop, design, build, finance and manage. We believe in the value they bring to the people who use them and the communities that surround them. In 2021, Ryan’s North Region delivered several signature projects across Minneapolis and Saint Paul. And we’re proud to share that we’ve been recognized with four 2022 Minnesota Real Estate Journal awards. The annual event celebrates the achievements, successes and highlights from all sectors of the commercial real estate industry. Below is a summary of the categories we were recognized for.

Developer of the Year

2021 was a busy year for Ryan. As developer and/or co-developer on several projects, Ryan delivered the following across the Twin Cities:

• Eleven: In partnership with Arcadia, we delivered a 42-story luxury condo that has become an iconic addition to the Minneapolis skyline. Designed by Robert A.M. Stern (RAMSA), it is the tallest residential tower in the upper Midwest.
• Highland Bridge: Approximately 80% of the mixed-use development’s $90M infrastructure was delivered in 2021 including 55 acres of open space, four new parks, roads, bike paths, and a central water feature that treats stormwater and recharges the Hidden Falls headwater.
• Kindeva Drug Delivery: The 137,897-square-foot corporate HQ serves the needs of Kindeva’s corporate leadership and promotes collaboration among 200 scientists who are engaged in research, development, and clean manufacturing.
• Kurita: The U.S. headquarters for Japanese water treatment company, Kurita, is the latest addition to Ryan’s 610 Zane Business Park in Brooklyn Park.

Emerging Leader of the Year

As director of real estate development, Joseph Peris has used his strong background in business partnerships, negotiations, and capital markets to deliver some of the most impactful developments in the Twin Cities. He specializes in multifamily and mixed-use projects and is passionate about positively impacting urban spaces through smart development. Joe is a board member of Green Minneapolis and Twin Cities Housing Alliance as well as an active member of the Urban Land Institute.

Urban Multifamily - Minneapolis

Rising 42 stories, Eleven has forever changed the Minneapolis skyline. Working with Arcadia and RAMSA, Ryan transformed a two-acre parking lot into a luxury tower featuring 118 homes ranging from 1,600 to 11,000 SF with oversized windows, private terraces and elegantly crafted interiors. Amenities include a private motor court, outside pool, expansive fitness suite, steam/sauna rooms, billiards room, library, guest suites, golf simulator, multi-sport court, demonstration kitchen with dining room, and temperature-controlled parking.

Flex Building Project

The new corporate headquarters of Kindeva Drug Delivery—a leading global supplier of development-driven pharmaceutical delivery solutions—was developed, designed, and constructed by Ryan. The project required extensive clean room, laboratory, and high-finish industrial construction expertise, and the team successfully navigated challenges to deliver a flexible space.
