Selected after meticulous strategic research with operating partner Cadence Senior Living, this spectacular eight-acre property close to Granite Reef Park checks every box for an upscale senior living environment. Ryan managed all phases including development, capital markets, architecture + engineering and construction. With the location secured, we worked closely with local authorities and community members to achieve the necessary permitting and acceptance, while tapping our strong network of subcontractors to assemble an appropriate team. The design plan—featuring finishes inspired by the regional vernacular—called for painstaking residential woodworking, among other artisanal skills.

With sustained care and forethought, the team achieved every project goal, even completing construction four days early. A stunning success, Acoya Mesa provides complete age-in-place living—including 142 independent and assisted living units, 28 memory care units, fine and private dining, a bistro and pub lounge, move theater, hair salon, craft room, lounges and multipurpose spaces, fitness center, medical exam rooms and secure memory care gardens. The environment raises the bar for senior living in Mesa and the entire area.
