Ryan Companies and Grand Living Announce $50 Million Senior Living Community

Ryan Companies US, Inc. and its partner, Grand Living announced today they have started construction on their third senior living project in the state of Florida. Grand Living at Lakewood Ranch will be located in Sarasota, Florida at the southeast corner of University Parkway and Lorraine Road. The site is  located close to the new Publix market being constructed and the Sarasota Polo Club.

The 50 million dollar project begins construction this month and marks the continued expansion of Grand Living in Florida. Located in the Lakewood Ranch master development in Sarasota, Grand Living at Lakewood Ranch will offer residences ranging from studios to two-bedroom apartment homes, while providing independent living, assisted living and memory care services. The Community will have 172 well-appointed units with the ability for residents to age-in-place for the independent and assisted units. All Grand Living Communities amenities and services include: multiple dining venues, a performance theater, the Grand Spa and Salon, an outdoor pool, Club Room, Library and many other offerings.

Ryan Companies and Grand Living opened Grand Living Citrus Hills in North Tampa in July, 2017. Grand Living Tamaya in Jacksonville, Florida started construction in October of 2017 with an expected completion of spring 2019. The Lakewood Ranch Grand Living community is expected to open in the summer of 2019.

The project is being developed and built by Ryan Companies with architectural design handled by Ryan A+E. A sales center will open in the fall of 2018 by Grand Living the community’s operating partner.
