Grand Living at Lakewood Ranch

After completing two successful Grand Living communities in Florida, Lakewood Ranch, an upscale master-planned community on Florida’s gulf coast partnered with Ryan Companies on a Grand Living senior living community as the initial project for their new subdivision.  

Beautifully located on a former polo field, this luxurious four-story community is an age-in-place design concept, meaning a resident can remain within their apartment home and continue to receive services over time – even as their needs change. Leveraging best practices and lessons learned from previous Grand Living projects, this community was designed with more units per square foot—allowing for 139 independent/assisted living units and 34 dedicated units for memory care. 

This community also offers deluxe amenities including fine dining, casual and bistro restaurants; the Grand Spa and Salon that features individual training space, group fitness areas, outdoor pool and jacuzzi; a salon; a 150-seat performance theater; club room and a lounge. All shared community areas and individual housing units incorporate intricate features and finishes.  

Throughout the project, our team was hyper-focused on sustainability as we were building to Florida Green Building Council LEED-Silver certification standards, a rigorous set of protocols. The combination of location, design and community offerings have resulted in a high local interest and a great leasing track record at Grand Living at Lakewood Ranch.
