Ryan Companies US, Inc. and PrairieCare, LLC announce the grand opening of the 610 Medical Center located in Brooklyn Park, Minn. The 41,000 square-foot, two story medical office building will be home to PrairieCare and PrairieCare Medical Group.
PrairieCare provides specialized behavioral health services to all ages and the new medical office building will be dedicated to PrairieCare’s partial hospital program for youth, intensive outpatient programs for all ages, outpatient clinic services for all ages, and administrative space. 610 Medical Center is located near PrairieCare’s inpatient hospital and creates a destination campus for PrairieCare’s patients in Brooklyn Park. “We are very happy with our new location. It offers our team the opportunity to increase our capacity for adult care and further open up access to mental healthcare in the area,” said Dr. Joel Oberstar, CEO of PrairieCare, LLC.
The completion of the 610 Medical Center demonstrates the continued demand for healthcare and other space in the area. Ryan developed the medical office building to offer the best long-term value with respect to patient experience, reducing the cost of healthcare, improving outcomes and ensuring flexibility for future models of care delivery.
“Ryan is excited to partner with PrairieCare on this project and to support their continued growth,” said Erwin Effler, Ryan’s Vice President of Real Estate Development - Healthcare. “At Ryan, we have worked to develop a new class of medical office buildings that are differentiated from other facilities across the nation. With PrairieCare’s partnership, 610 Medical Center is a great example of a best-in-class outpatient facility.”
Ryan provided development, construction, capital markets, civil engineering, landscape architecture and management services for the project; and HGA Architects designed the core and shell services and Pope Architects designed PrairieCare’s space.
